RARE BEAUTY
An endangered yellow footed rock wallaby surveys a watering hole before heading down to drink in the Flinders Ranges. Hunted to near extinction for its colorful coat and competition for food from non-native rabbits nearly meant the demise of this marsupial, but conservation measures and a hunting ban have helped to ensure the species survival.
